I heard it that way too. Kincade is never corrected, though in the circumstances I doubt Bond would say "no, actually it's just M.. the letter".
ReplyDeleteI ran this idea past a couple of friends that I saw the film with and they agreed, perhaps this was more than coincidence. I really do think M stands for Emma, as in Em.. as hinted at in Casino Royale
of the people I have asked only one other spotted this. Not sure what that says about me, or my friends ...
ReplyDeleteThe housekeeper did call her Emma but my husband was wondering if Eva Moneypenny was M' s daughter? I believe it was inferred M had a family.
